It's a mystery

What can you make with some trash from a harry potter mystery blind box, an empty tape roll, and some random cardboard?

After unfolding the box, you can see that it's corrugated cardboard...which is a good thing...that means you can carefully, and with painstaking patience, pry the layers apart. I used a fingernail file to help with that. It sort of comes apart like a sticker coming off of paper, so you have to pull it apart very gently.

Cut out a rectangular piece from the box to wrap around the tape roll, a couple of circles from the box for the top and bottom of the tape roll, a little hot glue, and a few embellishments later...this is the result, and I have to say I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

With a little imagination, awesome things can be made out of things that most people would ordinarily just throw out. The only things used that were not "trash" was the Harry and Hedwig patches that came from the blind box.

I didn't use the blue paper, but I imagine you may see it come up in another project. I'm a pack rat like that!

...but only with craft supplies I swear!
